St. Vincent de Paul stores can be found nationwide. They are a major source of income for the local SVDP conferences. This income is used by Vincentians to help fund all of our charitable activities, such as paying for food, heating, rent, pharmaceuticals, medicines, and other needs for the poor in their area.
Pascagoula - Convent St.
We operate a St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store in Pascagoula on Convent. St., immediately west of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
It is open two days a month, on the first and third Saturdays, from 9 AM to Noon.
The Pascagoula store is very popular in east Jackson Co. and is very busy during operating hours. We invite you to stop in and shop for the numerous bargains that our store has for sale. We have a large selection of clothing, furniture, and other household items.
Donations: Our store needs your donations in order to be successful. Donations of usable clothing, furniture, and other household items are always welcome and needed. Please call for information on donating items to the store.
Please: all donations must be in good, usable condition.
Biloxi
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul operated a Diocesean-wide thrift store for several years in Biloxi. Unfortunately, due changing shopping patterns in the city, we were forced to close the store.
We hope to reopen a Diocesan-wide thrift store someday at a location in a higher traffic area that will better serve our customers.
If you would like to be a benefactor and help us to re-open a thrift store in Biloxi, or elsewhere in the area of the diocese of Biloxi, please contact us. In doing so, you could personally help bring a higher level of assistance to the needy in our area.
